E1 is the rank at which recruits are brought into the group. They must attend an audience with a Family Council member and swear an oath of loyalty to the Sun before they are considered for advancement within our ranks. At this stage they are not eligible for regular pay and must first learn the skills of our trade.

The next major milestone for our agents is O5. Only those who prove themselves highly loyal and capable achieve this rank. It is at this point that they are summoned again before a Council member and given a unique blade which symbolizes their place in the Family. A host of privileges are extended to these elites.

The ranks C2 to C5 are only given to sentients of great autonomy and respect within the group. Not only have they proven themselves as agents but also as ruthless leaders, able to run their own operations for the further infamy of Black Sun.

All Family Council members are properly titled Vigo, which sits above the ranks on this table.

From across wide spatial volumes Black Sun members meet in central locations to communicate in person or via holographic representations. Status in these holorooms is determined by an interaction of rank and position.
